I have voluntarily or as an intern with filmmakers, production companies, fashion designers, commercial galleries and feminist NGOs. Since 2016, in the course of 4 years, I have completed 12 internships, worked without any payment. I am still invisible in the professional field, you can’t see my name as a contributor; curatorial assistant in the exhibitions, assistant designer in fashion shows, production assistant or assistant director in film credits. I am the dark matter that the art world is made of.

 

Dark matter is thought to account for 85% of the universe that does not appear to interact with the electromagnetic field therefore difficult to detect. Evidences show that galaxies would fly apart and would have not formed if they did not contain a large amount of unseen matter. Interns are dark matter of the art universe. Our presence and labour makes the starts of the art universe, curators, gallery owners, celebrity-artists shine.
